5 minutes after the last section of roof was secured the rain hit.

And finally, after all these years, the place is ready for a couple dozen head of cattle and a few horses to chase them around with.

The barn is for the hay and the livestock shelter is for both horses and cows when they are penned up in the corral.

Maybe it was Rebecca. She was funny, eyeballing our pal.

As far as the weight of the shelter goes, there's still a crushed rock floor to go in.

Bumping this 15 year-old thread on the off chance that the OP gets an email that the thread was bumped. (Admittedly a very slim chance of that.) These barns are where I’m moving to. I want to hookup with the OP if he is still around.

Too bad the pics are gone, this was an awesome thread.

The Amish have some strange ways, but maybe they have it right.
All the money a kid makes, goes to the father, until 18.

My friend has a medical marijuana grow op in Amish county and hires them for all kinds of jobs. No problem, it’s just another agricultural product to them.

He told the elder he needed help trimming bud.
He sent over a bunch of 10 year olds.
