Just looking for a decent carver this year. Spent too much on the rest of the quiver, so these fit in the budget well. Anyone ever ridden them? If so how are they?
Thanks.

I race on the K2 Mach SL out here on the EC, and its a really awesome ski. I have a lot of fun with it both in and out of the course....its a really energetic ski with lots of pop & great edge hold. And its fast.
I'm not very good at reviewing skis, as you can probably tell, but I will say this: I've raced on K2, Atomic, Head, Fischer, and Rossignol skis, and from those, if I were to pick a GS ski for free-skiing, it would def. be the K2. It's probably the least "race" feeling ski out of all of them, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Hope this helps.
Nice, thanks for the help.
how is their SL ski, is it stiff enough to really race on, i realize K2 has scaled their race program considerably recently but...
Preserving farness, nearness presences nearness in nearing that farness
The K2 Race skis are great, they've "scaled" they're race program to focus on J1 and J2 racers, not world cup racers. The Mach GS and SL are great, i've raced in a beer leauge on them for the last few winters and I think they hold a edge real well and they have a ton of pop. Bracher's got the race room working for sure, even if they don't pay for super high profile USST racers to use their product...
