    Salomon bindings

I just bought some skis with Salomon 700s on them and it happens that they are mounted in the right length for my boots. Is the bolt pattern for S914 or S916 bindings the same?

    hole pattern

Salomon's standard hole pattern has not changed in years, at least 10, I think. Unless the binding has a Quadrax toepiece, or is a rental/demo, any of their hole patterns should be compatible.

Is this some grade seven math question? What do the 700's have to do with the mounting patterns of the 914 and 916?

Here is the answer to your question and the answer to the question you didn't ask. The 914 and 916 have the same hole pattern. The 700 series is the Quadrax style toe so the mounting pattern is different from the 914 etc. (driver style). Basically what jonnyquest said is right.
Move along nothing to see here.

S700/710 has a 3-hole toepiece, the others are 4-hole. IIRC the 2 rear holes will match the S810/900/997/912/914/916 toes, but you'll have to drill 2 new holes for the front 2.

And try the search function next time.
