Looks like today will be the first day Seattle gets at least a tenth of an inch of rain since June 20th and with a high temp in the low 60s. I wouldn't call it "the turn" yet, but we're starting to head in that direction.

Holy shit the pop-ups are annoying as hell on his site.
Rain Tuesday, some yesterday, including a rad T-storm, and rain all day today. A few leaves in the yard. While it's not the turn here just yet... it's sure trying real hard.
And while I'm stoked about skiing and already shopping for a new pair of skis; I'm not yet ready to surrender to sweet sweet glory that is a PNWet summer. The fucking gross-ass wet and gray will be here soon enough. No need to rush it here.
30 Cs here for a few days. Saw some nice red trees last week north of Elliot Lake. Had a couple of 5 C mornings up there but no turn yet. Patience eh.
First sub-50 deg morning here since the spring. I'm ready for it.
I wonder if anyone skied the road in the untinas when it snowed yesterday..
After last week's first snow (above 10k), the Wasatch is feeling the Turn. Much cooler temps this week. Fall colors aren't far behind. Gotta love autumn mtb rides!
Hiked at 13,000’ along the Continental Divide west of Denver today. Definitely felt the turn up there. The tundra is gold and red.
34 degrees here in Gunnison this morning it’s definitely “the turn”

Samuel L. Jackson as Jules Winnfield: Oh, I'm sorry. Did I break your concentration?
Was up in IP ID this weekend and it’s definitely on.
Had to be to work early back in Jackson and when I left this morning it was 35F in Last Chance. First time I’ve used the heat in my car this year.

The season is definitely changing. The Turn has arrived in the Inland Northwest. Long shadows, cool nights, no smoke, leafs falling, first rains in three months....yep, it's here.
It’s time.
Cold on the MTB ride last night

I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Snow on Louise.....its here.
i thought we'd started to look at fall a bit, but overnight temps still not dipping properly & a forecast with highs above 90 later this week
a/c got turned off a week ago, but we had to turn it on on several occasions since to just get the house cool enough to go back to windows open at sunset
i'm ready for some regular proper overnight cooling
[deep breath...despite media claims of the meteorological start of autumn, it's not even the equinox yet]
Overnight temps in the 30's, Elk out in the ranch pastures, Geese gathering at the ponds and fields, Willow leaves falling.
It's def the turn for me here in the Valley.
It's been a beautiful summer after a grrrreat winter.
El Nino right around the corner...
Autumn is finally here. The light changed around September first, i observed this the previous years too, temps and weather changed mid last week. also the apples taste better. yes i can not deny it.
