    I like Kidwoo's
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.

The descents down green creek and the rainbow trail are two of my favorite rides in the country.

    Nice pics

Werd. Rainbow trail sections to the east of there are also the shizzle... and some sections are terrible also.

The last one is on the crest there while the first two are on the North side of the pass... adventure riding at its finest.

I've been meaning to descend the Agate Creek trail that goes towards Sargeant<spellering?>. I think it bangs a right where Greens Creek heads left... or somewhere thereabouts. I may have to fit that in this summer sometime. Goddam I love that area.

that looks amazing. i regret that the one time i passed through the fruita area that i didn't take more time. i tried to squeeze in a ride but a massive thunderstorm hit about 10 minutes after i hit the trail.

    must...get...back.

    awesome photos!

UAN--what kind of a helmet is that. It doesn't look like a full-blown DH helmet...or it could be the angle.

i forget the model...but it's a giro helmet that has a bolt-on chin guard. i wouldn't really trust it for a full-on DH-speed crash, although it would certainly be better than nothing.

it's basically a compromise -- more protection than a standard helmet but more weight... less protection/weight than a DH helmet. it's actually reasonable in that you could unscrew the lower part off (say, for a climb) and attach it in a minute for the DH portion.

i haven't been using chinguard lately.
