    Angry Skiing in Lesotho?

Anyone skied there? Or elsewhere in Africa?

lived in lesotho for a while. frickin beautiful country - all mountains all the time. skiing is possible but never really super - its just too dry there in the winter for big dumps. but the terrain is beautiful. you'll want to be up in the northeast near sani pass and oxbow lodge for the most elevation. good luck!

    Wow, mandatory TR for that.
I skied with a guy in La Grave who guided in the Kilimanjaro(?) area, said it was never really worth dragging skis up there.

My sister skied at a resort in South Africa once. She said it was an experience, but not worth doing for the skiing (think Big Bear when it really sucks). I think this is the website.

I had to do this to claim my 7th continent on skis last July.

Looks cool. The pictures remind me of skiing in Scotland, the strip of snow surrounded by grass and no trees is a lot like the Lecht.
