Help a alpine Jong narrow down a boot search

Yep, seriously thinking of locking the heel for next season. Now I haven't tested alpine-boots in ~12 years or so.

So any of you boot-guru's wanna give some pointers on which brands/models to consentrate (and yes, I do know that get the boots that fit). I've been happy thus far with my Garmont G-Rides and Crispi hippy-boots. So any idea which brands/models might have a fit/last close to Garmont. Ideally the flex should be around 80 to 100.

    Thanks in advance

garmont AT boots are med to narrow, so look lange, soem heads, salomon falchons, and a WHOLE BUNCH of other ones.

find a good boot fitter and do what they say. WAY to hard to do this online, somethings can only be done in person

Thanks, atleast I'll have a starting point... Sadly the options are quite limited at the moment (not that many sport shops carry skiing gear in the summer or in general in Netherlands).

Don't get hung up on flex index either. It is not consistent across brands.
and congratulations on deciding to ski for real.

hemas, in a few you'll be an AT addict, so try a pair of adrenalin.... or even a pair of megarides, 'cuz sooner or later you'll use the dynafit bindings

    I already have a AT-rig, Explosive's + Freerides + GRide's... Was just planning on getting a pair of "real" alpine-boots and possibly a pair of alpine-skis...

Or mebbe I'll just find a pair of mint 997 equipes (any leads in Yurp) and use those GRide's in 'em

Beside's, both the possible alpine- & the AT-rig are just for fun... I'll still be a granola eating (tele) hippy 80% of the time I'm skiing

I agree, but since you already have Grides, get something stiffer than 80-100.
    Get a real boot!
