    p12 jib question

I want mount my p12 lifters without the lift, and it looks like the lifters under the toe and heel are the same thickness so all I would need is shorter screws. This would mean the metal heel track would be mounted directly onto the ski - is this how the p12 jib's are? Or do they put a thin plastic shim under there to 'pad' the topsheet?

In general, is it OK to mount a metal part of the binding directly onto the topsheet (like fritschis without the toe shim) ?

Yes, you can mount the metal plate directly to the ski. That's how the regular P12s without the lifters are. You just need the correct length screws.

the kit for p14 lifters to p14 w/ no lift, has a small 1mm plastic shim on the heel, and the smaller screws, don't think it does much but allow the heel to sit completely flush. Anyone have one lying around?

I have jibs on a park ski and they are mounted with a thin (3/4mm ?) plastic pad inbetween the topsheet and binding. I have no idea why they are there as all my other mounts lack the shim.
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

i'm pretty sure its to insure that the heel is mounting flush to the ski. My plastic plate for p14's have small impressions for the screws, and are completely flat other wise.

I'll dig around and see if i have a part number. If anyone has this kit lying around, I'll gladly pay for it + shipping. I have another set of p14's I'm looking to mount flat.

Well, obviously I'd like one of those kits too so if someone has the info and/or parts Laramie is talking about, pass the info on to me too.

My Axial 140's have no shim on the heel. They didn't come with one either.
