Heal fast pups! This was mine after she had a lump removed from her hip. Alternated between the saddest looking dog ever and being a total dick with the cone. She does love the shirts and sweaters now, though.

My lunatic had her cone destroyed in 6 days after her spay. She found that to go in and out the dog door you just have to go faster. She would also put her head through the fence and pull the cone off, leaving it on the other side of the fence.

One night Charly was walking by the bookcase and snagged a book with the cone, then she stopped, stared at me, and dragged three more books off the shelf with the cone before moving on.

lol at all the cone destruction.

When our old BC Connor got fixed he was super exhausted so we decided to walk down the street to the pub for some dinner. We come back and he’s stuck to the freshly mudded drywall in the new closet we had built. A perfect circle where his cone was sunk in and a hole in the middle of the circle where he could get his front teeth into the spackle and Sheetrock. It was so funny we never had it fixed and painted it that way.

I’m sure the subsequent homeowners were like what the fuck is this?

Tonight, Finnegan fluffed and spun for several minutes. It got hilarious.

Another tough day at the office. She’s getting her weight up and loving every new adventure. She’s the best.

What you are doing is great, however you want to watch out for separation anxiety as you go along.
You won't be able to keep her in your truck all day in the middle of the summer, so it'd be good to have her comfortable on her own by then.

She'll probably also appreciate a sweater as the weather gets colder.

You're doing great work though, it's really nice to see.

for sure. Totally agree she spent the other day at the office with my buddy. But she’s attached to me and I definitely need to calm it down. I figured to let her have a month of getting to know things before really going too hard. I’m getting her comfortable with all the guys I work with and hang out with so that’s not a down the road problem. I figured we should build trust up first so she knows she’s safe and then start leaving her home a bit.

the nice part about a diesel is it doesn’t mind idling…especially when it’s not my fuel card 😂

So excited! We brought home a new pup today. His name is Rocky and we got him from a rescue in havre. Him and sister were thrown in a dumpster at Bear Paw from Rocky Boy. He has some skin/coat problems but so far is a very sweet boy. Slept most of the drive home from great falls and has been playing with Walter ever since.

The ears are what sold me. Had a shepherd wolf mix that had the hugest ears. I think German Shepard something mix. He also has white tipped toes so maybe some border collie/aussie but who knows he's a rez mutt and he's awesome. Might have some mange but we'll figure it out and get him all settled in with our pack. Gonna have to do some winter fishing so Walter can show him how to behave in the driftboat.
