Flashback, Iran hates the living fuck out of Al Qaida and the Taliban, infact they were planning on marching thousands of troops into Afghanistan years ago to take care of the Taliban problem.

How the hell this should make the folks in Iowa tremble in fear is beyond me. This war was sold to us as a matter of OUR National Security - not Israel's. I personally don't give a flying fuck about that area - why should my friends/family die in a war to "protect" them?

Bring peace with war? Democracy in Islamic states?

Palestine is a great example of electi.....oh wait, they elected a terrorist organization.

Don't kid yourselves, if Iraq wasn't sitting on the world's largest oil reserves we'd let those fuckers fight over their mud huts and worthless pieces of desert sand. Why aren't we bombing the shit out of Sudan? Didn't Bin Laden live and train there, thus supporting terrorism? Aren't they killing thousands upon thousands of innocent people in ethnic conflicts? Similar reasons to invade Iraq, but where are the troops? If Exxon rolled up and hit a gusher there, you'd bet there'd be Marines there the next day. Anyone who thinks that our current administration is looking out for anyone other than the people and corporations that had him elected needs to remove their head from thier ass.

McCain is already pandering to the religious right...I like and respect him, though, which is more than I can say for Dubya. Hopefully it's just politics, as I doubt he can get the nomination without spouting about God and "family values." Worked for Bush. Hope your "family values" hold you together when you lose your blue collar job and the president of your company gets another tax cut.

I think Lieberman is a good guy, too. Wish he'd run.

well, i voted for GW both times; even campaigned in minnesota for him(as texas is an automatic "R"). heck, i even got a letter of appreciation from cheney for fixing voting booths all over the sate.

i'm also a veteran and work for an oil company, so i guess i'm just a schill as iran and north korea are no threat and we just need to talk to them better. and the last countries to roll thier missles down main street ? germany, russia.

kerry and gore as the other options, if that's what's behind doors #2 and #3; i'll stick with the lifetime supply of gop pork.

I don't give a fuck what they do, I'm just saying they are a terrorist organization. My point was that the people's choice out there is a different choice than our Gov. would have liked.

    This thread is funny.

People who still support Bush or think he's only "made a few mistakes" are the real douchebags here. Last time I checked, most everyone here are not millionares. So while you're all spoutin' off about tear-roar-rists, Bush is fucking you right in your homophobic pooper. He doesn't care if your a hard werkin amerikan, a small business owner, or an enlisted soldier. He's fucking you out of your money, your civil liberties, your quality of life and, unfortunately, sometimes your life so he can shovel money into the pockets of his drinking buddies and their fathers. Money. Money. Money. Bottom line. Last time I checked, most rednecks hated rich boys too. So, why you giving this one the ol' rusty trombone?

Second on Obama. Big third on Feingold. That guy is the voice of reason and the best thing Wisconsin has ever produced. But I doubt we'll ever have an honest president, cause I'm not that lucky.

    Our government can get fucked.
Like its even their choice what other people do, oh right, apparently we run everything now.

Clandestine removal of politicans, sponsored assasinations, bombings of countries without warning, who are the terrorists again?

on 9/12/01 GWB could have done anything. Amost the whole world was behind America and shared it's outrage.

To have wasted that opportunity and support and instead created the chaos in Iraq and looming confrontation in Iran is absolute proof he's an idiot.

Thanks to him the world is a more dangerous place, the US is in more danger of furher terrorist attacks, billions of $ are wasted, 10s of thousands of lives have been lost, new generations of suicide bombers have been recruited and your rights have been trampled on.

To have voted for him once was just dumb - to have voted for him twice was stupid.

and that's a good point. We are going to bring democracy to Iraq and 5 years later they will elect a Religious cleric who will roll back all the "progress" made and shit will look just like Iran, S.A. Pakistan, take your pick.

As much as I hate him, Michael Moore running around trying to get politicians to sign their kids up for the military was fucking BRILLIANT.

We must be careful not to confuse the two. Iran has and always will be a problem. As they made their announcement yesterday they were praising Allah for their enriched Uranium?

What is the value of the IAEA the UN or any other interantional Law now? Do not let your hatred for Bush and his decision to invade Iraq cloud future decisions. They are two seperate problems and Bush will be gone soon.
Cono Este, I see Iran as a legitimate threat, one of the consequences of this war is that we are unable to respond to Iran since the administration has wasted any capital it had.
