Blurred & Huckwheat - I too was there with you guys and ErrrrrrrrrrrrrrV Wolfe at the 97 CB contest. I was doing well until my 2nd run on the semi-finals, the pillow I attempted to do a 20 ft acid drop on...wasn't exactly a "pillow" anymore, and my skis came off faster than a pair of markers on 1 DIN.

Kush - Did you huck HOSPITAL AIR?

...I met with Zippy yesterday and he was super pissed and disappointed. He said he felt really "on it" and then sent a backflip and landed a tad too far back on the tails. If it wasn't for that, he'd be in the top 5 for sure. I think his best finish at Kirkwood has been 10th or so.

    Classic Zippy style....

It would be interesting to know how he at least supposedly got to ski on day two then :

OR is this some trickery going on there?

I was there, too, but only as a JAFO. I remember a lot of falls as the snow wasn't too good... I wonder if I actually saw your fall?! I was so inspired (drunk) though, I asked my (now wife) to marry me that night. CB is a very special place for us... thanks for reminding me! (Isn't it wierd sometimes on this board?!... or is it just me?)

Kush - Good to meet you this past weekend. I really did mean to call you for the Reggae show on Saturday night, but I fell asleep in all my clothes right when I got back to my motel from the mountain. I had such a fun time up there this year. The skiing on Saturday morning was so fucking incredible, one of my best days of the year for sure. Runs from the high speeder, the Wall, and through the Saddle were all so sweet. Sorry you crashed, sorry Zippy too. I blew up too when I landed next to fluff but on bed surface; man a lot of snow was moving up there! You guys have a sick mountain up there, I would love to come back just to jump off of things for a week. Just the drive up there tickles the air-craving imagination. Too bad we all fucked up and let the Canuck and Frenchies take the top, next year won't be the same. Until later,
    Drew

Like wise Alto, you def. have to come down sometime to jump off shit.... err I mean ski. I passed out as soon as I got home too, woke up around 8 or so and it was time to party. After LPH's we met up sith some of the guys from the comp. at Nero's to wreck some stuff, good times.

I'm mostly upset about the crash because I can't even go back and redeem myself on it. Oh well there is always next year, and by then I hope to have more comp experience under my belt. Congrats on the young gun award by the way, you deserve it dude!
