    PAYPAL HELP

So someone is buying my boots and needs me to mail them today for their trip this weekend, and I was planning on receiving the payment on paypal. however they are using a credit card, and since I have a personal account i would need to update to commercial AND get charged an extra 3%.

Anyone have any other options of immediate payment that would work for me so I can ship him the boots today? I thought of direct deposit to my bank account, but i believe it only works if he has the same bank.

Also if not, would anyone be willing to accept payment for me on their paypal account, and mail me a check for the same amount? Id be going on strictly your word as someone who frequents this board, so this would need to be worked out pretty well.

    Thanks for the help.

    You can't just upgrade to a premier account? That's free-ish, I think.

I'd help you out with the whole paypal thing, but am headed out the door right now to take the baby to visit with her grandparents for the rest of the week....

If there's a branch of your bank close to him could he deposit a cashier's check into your account at that branch? I used to have my parents do that when I was going to college away from home and my diet had been reduced to ramen due to lack of funds...

Send him the boots, he'll send you a check\money order. If you're maggots, all will be good.

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback/offers to help. I ended up upgrading to a business/premier account, he sent me 12 bucks more for the 3%, worked out fine. I misread something that i thought meant i would have to pay 1-300 bucks to upgrade, which I was not about to do.

Thanks again, problem solved, boots shipped.

In the future don't ask people to pay for the 3% on ebay auctions, it is against eBay rules to ask for it. Just letting you know so you might not make that mistake and get hammered by eBay for it.
