I have to agree with that one - Uber is our King of Steeze.

Lego and I will be there at the mini - we just arrived home from Seattle and already I'm thinking about going somewhere else to ski!

Barnballs - you were drunk, but you offered your condo for the two of us for the mini weekend at that sushi place in Whistler.....does the offer still stand? You said it was $xx a night for the both of us?

I'll be there. I'm optimistic about skiing by then. Last time I was fired up skiing with a bunch of Mags I earned some downtime. :-)

    Seriously considering it.

Trying to convince Flanker and some other non-mags that we should hit the Mammoth Summit.

Another Road Trip is needed this season.

I'll probably be up for it, as I didn't make the summit this year.

So this sounds like a lot of fun... I think maybe I'll try to go.

What kind of runs would you guys all say you're most interested in doing? I'm a bit nervous skiing with new people just because I have no idea what their expectations are... by the time this comes around i'll have made it up there a couple more times...

and what's the lodging situation like???

Rhea: I'm assuming chair 22, 23 and Gondi 2 for most of us on run choice. However I'll be doing P4 instead of Star chute .

Just so you know, the spring skiing scene is way more mellow than any other time up there. since a lot of the gnar has melted out by then, the idea is just to follow the sun around the mountain and get the best corn and nobody is in any kind of huge hurry. It's a really fun vibe and usually splinter groups will form and reform throughout the day. And it's really hard to beat skiing with cool people, on a sweet mountain with perfect carving snow in a t-shirt.

Ditto for me. Probably won't be done with finals till May 10th. If anyone is going to stick around after the Mini or is going to be back there the weekend of May 12-14, let me know.

    Hmmm, this may be doable....

Anyone flying into Reno and want to ride share?

I've got a season pass to MC, so I can get half price tix from Intrawest, woohoo!

What are the cheap lodging places? All I need is a bed and pooper-station...

    Don't forget Memorial Weekend.

And it looks like it could be on once again for around the 4th of July. And those who were there for that last year know it didn't suck one bit.

Not sure I can make Memorial...but the weekend of 12th - 14th looks doable. We'll see...I'll get down there at some point.

Hey Yogachick, I'm in for the weekend and would be interested in sharing lodging and offering rides for gas $$ (from LA).

OK so i think i'm going to commit to this-- i spent the last three days up there doing a ton of tree runs and spent a little bit up time way up at the top (thanks so much gebster).

What's the lodging situation going to be like? should i try to reserve something at motel 6 or can i count on something happening through here??

    Unhappy Damm YogaChick

Hey Yoga chick, This is Squirrel from Carson City. I would love to join the fun in Mammoth but I'll be in Marin County running a 100K, 62 sick miles huh. I'll be thinking about those great turns you all will be making, enjoy! I might be in Mammoth April 4-5 though.

    Discount passes needed...

    Just in case...

Anyone have any discount passes for Saturdays or Sundays in May, hit me up as Lego and I maaaaay be needing them for the mini.....depending on a few things.

Also - I can't wait for the mini! Should be a blast. I'm up for whatever backcountry action is going on, too. Nater - that means including me and Lego in your bc plans.

There are people who run ultras and people who talk about running ultras.

    Get lost.

And if you come back, change your name. We've got a Squirrel here already and he brings way more game to this site than you appear able to.
