Why does no one fly to Reno? It makes things ~2.5 to 3 hrs to Mammy and a gorgeous drive at that...Originally Posted by MassLiberal

I'll definitely be hitting you up to run some laps on the demos. Need to get a feel before placing my order.Originally Posted by splat

Mass Liberal, did you get a ride yet? I can't pick you up, but if you can somehow make iit from Long Beach to Riverside (approx. 60-70 miles) or 1.5 hours, then you can ride with me and Corey.
Will I get killed in long beach if I hitch hike with skis??
All I know about California, and LA, I learned from Snoop Dog videos during my middle school "gangsta rap is cool" days. and they said Long Beach was bad news.![]()

dude, see if you can get a flight to somerwhere else. Long Beach is not exactly what I'd call a primo destination as far as MM logistics are concerned.Originally Posted by MassLiberal
Actually, you're wrong. It's easy for someone coming from Newport Beach, say, to pick up someone at Long Beach airport (hint, hint GoneHuckin).Originally Posted by erica_z

I think a few of you should bring your bikes and we need to organize an afternoon down at rock creek. Its sooooo good right now. Ski the morn, bike the afternoon, beers at night. This does require a few cars to drive to and to shuttle. Anyone interested in this shoot me a pm.

I'll have a pair of 188 softs with a 305mm boot sole than anyone can try as well.
Does anyone own a boot shrinker? They are at 316mm right now.Originally Posted by schuss

well, it is rather conveniently close to Ontario Intl. airport. (about 20 minutes)
but besides that? not much.
it is a wee bit closer to mammoth, but we all end up fighting the same wretched traffic up the Cajon Pass (unless you take the other way around through Lancaster)

I've never had problems in the mamoth lots - easy for the late night arrival; there's also free camping down in the flatlands close to springs.Originally Posted by P_McPoser
