4frnt msp in a 187 dynastar big trouble or scratch bc

I am trying to decide what to get after ridiing my pistols only twice this winter I have not liked the side cut the tails always seemed to hook up especialy in heavy snow. I am looking for somehting with less sidecut or atleast something that does not hook up thats a twin I can get all three of these skis for close to the same price. just wondereing what the experince you have had with these skis I know I should use the search function but I have not heard much about the 4frnt any opinons would be great or other sugetions. My quiver consits curntly of prophet 130 big daddies and rossi easy riders. Looking for something stiffer shorter and more stable than the pistols.

    Thanks
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

I weigh 200 lbs 6'0", reasonably aggressive skier. I've put 2 days on my Big Troubles, and have been very pleased. They are ultra stable, and stiffer than I expected. They just feel damp and I get few surprises as they blow thru crud and chunk. I mounted them -1cm. I have yet to ski anything deeper than 3" with them. Not a whole lot of sidecut, and both the shovel and tail are turned up pretty hard. They roost like crazy, which I kinda like. Decent on groomers. I dropped into the Chutes kinda hard on sunday and landed on a crusty slab, but they inspired confidence.

The only surprise I have gotten is while leisurely hitting some rollers, I hit a patch of ice in a trough and the next thing I knew I was sliding backwards. The tails just spun around on me. My buddy on Bros did the exact same thing, so I don't think it was the ski.

Other skis I have been on recently: Bro stiffs, Line Pollard Pros, Atomic R:EX. I only ran the Scratch BC's once last year on a demo day, but I liked them. I'd like to run them back to back with the BT's now to compare.

I did not like vicious' tails but MSP were WAY worse. Did not try troubles, though. I'd get the BROs or the mantra

What did you not like about the tails of the msp? If i could afford bros I would but i am short on cash for those I am cosidering mantra's it all depends on the price I can get them for.

If you don't like sidecut, don't get the Mantra. Look at the Gots maybe or try find some Exploders...
I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.

I don't mind side cut I just am looking for a ski that is stiffer than the pistol and under 100 under foot i have the prophets and big daddies to cover that. I would like to be stiffer than the pistols and have tails that don't hook up. I don't know if this is becsuse of the pistols shape it had the problem. Vicious have you ridden the msp? what didn't you like about it? And I want something softer than a explosiv

I rode last year's MSP, but I don't think they've changed much since then.

I hated them...felt dead underfoot. Just no fun at all. However, they were mounted just forward of the FR line, which was too far forward for my liking, so that may have had something to do with it. Still don't think I would have really liked them when mounted further back though.

If you are looking for less sidecut, I wouldn't get the Big Trouble, the radius is 23m.
