Edit- anyone know if this comp goes off every year at the same time? I saw it in 2001 when I was there. Reason I ask, I have an ex-gf whose bro has a time-share up there. I'll be there next week, and would rather not run into either of them.

I think it always starts on the first Thursday of February. Our anniversary is the 8th, and for the last 3 years we would head to LCC for it and always caught the comp.
