There isn't any if you can't use the search function.

(As has been sais in many other threads on the subject)
The good ski areas are the ones with good snow at the time. As NZ is an island the weather and snow conditions are variable.
The craigeburn range can have good touring and lift assisted bc or it may have been pounded with westerly winds!

Craigieburn, Broken River, Temple Basin... and all the bc surrounding.
Maybe I'm nuts, but I think any skiing there is considerably more difficult now that it is the middle of summer on the southern hemisphere.
Thanks for all the responses.Originally Posted by Adolf Allerbush
Adolf- you are indeed nuts...I hear the skiing is great there right now. Surfaces are 3-5" of grass with patches of moss and bedrock. I'm actually just trying to do some research so I can decide if it'll be worth it go there this summer. My plans after the northern hemisphere ski season dries up are up in the air.
I'm in the same boat... I've got family down there to visit and I'm going to make the best of a long plane ride. Have you decided anything?Originally Posted by ripdaeast
