Yours is definitely an unusual situation. If your scar tissue is holding the knee stable... maybe that's a good thing? You have ROM, so why not just leave it? I can also believe that the whole situation might have led to increased blood flow that allowed your ligaments and meniscus to heal. It's possible that they weren't torn completely and were able to repair themselves - just somewhat stretched out.
I don't know if I would think it's worthwhile to get it scoped to figure out what's really in there or not - especially if it's feeling pretty decent. I think you really have to base that on how it feels and what you're able to do on it.
Honestly it's hard to know what to say in your situation at all. But it's truly inspirational to see how far you've come! Keep it up!
