Night skiing at Jimmy Peak. How that brings me back to my glory days in the early 80's - middle school ski trips, drinking beers and kissing Stacy the entire bus trip back.

    enjoy for me././././././././././.

I went the THE BEAST today. (That would be berkshire east.) 6"-8" of heavy but very skiable and fun snow. I had a good time, anyways.

I was there today. Yup, 8 inches of goo! But it was good goo It's hiding all the grass and mud and tonight and tomorrow ought to be pretty fast as it's in the process of freezing up right now.

Actually Mohawk (in CT) ought to be the place to go, they ended up with at least 14 inches.

Just got back from Jiminy Peak and there was definately nice snow there tonight. I can only imagine how nice it was when they opened this morning. Whitetail had big powdery moguls which were unfortunately very widely interspersed between the icy base. It was a fun challenge with some great pow shots, but not something I repeated. North Glade-Slingshot-Exhibition East -180 was the run of the night. West Way and Left Bank had some nice soft cruising pow as well. Foxes had big nice soft moguls, with only minor ice base showing through. All in all, it was a great night of skiing.

John Hancock? I constantly forget about that trail. Even with a pass last year, I don't think I hit it.

I know it's crazy, most folks never get as far as Grand Slam, let alone Ace of Spades, then to actually forge ahead to John Hancock is just ludicrous.

But it's all really about the original Jehrico!

we ought to get together a night ski group to hit jiminy or west since there seems to be a growing group of capital/western mass mags
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was
