    End of Movie Tunes

    Three come to mind:

    1. Mad World in Donnie Darko. Beautifully haunting song in a strangely compelling movie.

    2. Change Your Heart (Beck version) in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Perfect closer. Brings with it the full force of the film.

    3. Hallelujah (Jeff Buckley version) in the Edukaters. A mediocre film totally turned around by the inclusion of this tune at the end. Left me liking the film a lot more than I really did.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and music makes the movie),

"Where is my Mind" by the Pixies at the end of Fight Club. Perfect song as Jack and Marla share a moment, watching the buildings come crashing down ("You met me at a very strange time in my life").

Some other really memorable end of movie tunes (not all my favorites):
"The End" at the end of Apocalypse Now

Whatever crap Aaron Copland anthem closed out He Got Game. The last 20 minutes almost made me walk out of the theater and did lead to my ongoing Spike Lee boycott!

"18 with a Bullet" at the end of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Great song for a playful ending.

"Don't you Forget About Me" -- The Breakfast Club.

Nice category Gin! I'll have to go through my soundtrack CDs when I get home to jog my memory on a few more tunes!

I think, after some searching, this is correct.

"Surf Rider" by The Lively Ones - The scene at the end of Pulp Fiction when Vincent and Jules are walking out of the diner. One of my all time favorite endings, and the song fits perfect.
