So I'm looking (in vain) for a ski/snowboard pant - - - khaki, insulated, cargo-pants with Gore-Tex. I have, however, found a lot that meet the above criteria but with Teflon coating instead of Gore-Tex.
Anybody have any Teflon outerwear? Any good?

Teflon will not last anywhere near as long.
Membrains like goretex (hellytech, h2no, membrain etc etc) are always better than coatings when it comes to wind/water proofness and longevity and virtually always better for breathability.

Gor-tex is teflon, but the difference is in how it is applied / attached to the fabric. Laminates will last way longer than the cheap spray on topical coatings found on most low end gear.
Muchas gracias mis amigos!
