Anyone else have problems with Atomic?

I'm just trying to get a handle on this.My buddy & I each sent in a shop form in the 2nd week of October for a pair of BD's.Atomic told me it would be until mid-November for delivery.Mid November they said it would be mid December.Today they said mid January.WTF! This isn't a start up company, these aren't friends I'm trying to support, this is a major manufacturer! I've got my old & very tired P-Rides,& a pair of Bros,so I'm covered, but my buddy has no pow skis .Colorado is going off,Utah is going off ,but Atomic isn't.

At this point I'm skeptical that the mid-January idate is a reality.Anyone else experiencing the same thing,or is this as Damon Wayans used to say, C-O-N....-spiracy.

Is the shop you work in bro enough to let you take a pair of theirs and replace it with the shop form ones that are delayed?

I am in the same boat. Ordered a pair of BD's around the same time. At the time they said they had plenty in stock. Called a week ago and they said end of December, beginning of January. Now there telling you Mid January. WTF! I have always been a huge supporter of Atomic. Grew up racing on their skis and have pretty much been brand loyal ever since. I have always had good luck up until now! Fortunatley, I have My Sugars to get me through. But I want my Big Daddies DAMMITT!

Nope,They ain't got no more BD's ,so that's a bust.I wouldn't want to take the only pair they had & keep them from potentially selling them to a customer either.

freshies, those Sugars rip! Particularly in CO with trees, etc, why not have your friend take those instead of the BDs? Sorry, I know it still sucks, but the 183 Sugars are damn fun skis in my opinion, and they were great in the trees...

They seemed to work okay for me last winter in CO (actually teledaddys mounted alpine, but whatever). Shameless self promo:

Im having a problem with Atomic, as in I basically destroyed my BDs. Waiting to possibly fix them before i try to warranty, but they won't warranty them anyway. Freshie, you have an Atomic hookup/connection?

heh. Edgeworks has em right now, dude is trying to hook me up, but he said he may not be able to do anything....we'll see.

It will open back up if he does fix it, but whatever, they aren't going to warranty it.

I'm not sure I have a connection in warranty, but I got some forms in early Oct.

That's a tough one to deal with. Most firms I've dealt with when I was the warranty guy at Christy's figure pilot error isn't their issue.K2 was always the best to their customers IMO.I'll ask around, good luck!
