Shop techs experience with Speed Point

Shop techs, I want to hear any stories of the Marker Comp 1400 demo Speed Point System. Gravity Lover has already suggested the internal component may not be bomber.

Here are the models that were recalled
    | M9.2 Titanium | M8.2 Graphite |
    | M7.2 | M5.2 | Titanium 1200 |
    | Competition 1400 |
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Some early Speedpoints were recalled. The recall involved replacing the base plate (including the length adjustment mechanism). I believe that some of the plastic was defective or brittle; however, we never saw a failure with the recalled bindings.

The binding itself was not affected, and has the same features/flaws of other Marker bindings.

One thing that always irked me about that binding was that the BSL numbers on the adjustment dial were useless. The binding always was 1-3 "sizes" smaller.

Forward pressure was also a little strange; maybe one boot in 5 would end up in the middle of the forward pressure range. Most were on the verge of too loose or too tight.
