Why do you need 920's for free riding? Do you ski on >15 DIN everyday? or did you get them cheap or something?

i ski on 14-16 most of the time. 17 on my atomics because they threw my out on 14-15 when i didn't want them to...
I ski fast and have a bad technique, a disastrous combination for getting thrown out of your bindings
The 10-18 still release when needed (hitting icy bumps below 20cm of blower with 50-60kph, or accidently hucking 3m to hard cat track in dense fog )

The S920 were overkill i guess, but the e-bay store i got them together with my cheaaap squads didn't have anything else left (i would have preferred a 916 or FKS185 or p18) and the price was ok. I will test them at 16 and hope my knee will survive

edit: fritz, can i get a DAMN! that IS a nice dream quiver already

200 AK Rockets, 916's (green topsheet) - for hauling balls down tracked-out inbounds bowls
195 AK Rocket LABs, 920's (swallowtail) - first tracks, straight down... These don't really like to turn.
192 Line Mo'ship Titanium, 912's (chick w/ the ghetto blaster on the tails)- messin' around in the trees, gaper slalom down the blues...
190 Got's, 914's - deeep stuff, crud, and chutes - pretty much my everyday ski.
179 Hellbents - in the plastic. because, you know... everyone's doing the rocker thing.
    188 Scratch BC's, NX21's (black/red topsheet)- my tree skis / AT rig
LBF's - several sections of edge missing. these would be my first-line-of-the-season-skiing-down-rocks-with-2-inches-of-coverage-skis.
191 BD Nunyo, Riva comps - superlight BC tele setup
    183 T3's, 02's - my first tele rig...
179 Fujative, 912's - (shasta topsheet - I love those graphics, it's where I grew up) bumps and trees and f-ing around in the park
182 Dynastar Speed SX, 914's - ice, ice, ice, ice, shit, ice...
197 Dynastar Speed SF, MRR's - for when I feel like prereleasing down the ice...
192 Dynastar Speed SF, free, S900 demos, for teaching friends how to ski...
200 Swallow Monocoque, Purple and pink Markers - Slide Back day. You've never seen a prettier pair of rainbow neon bases!

Some of these are going to be converted to tele when I get my hammerheads this year...

You know, you can pull the inner spring out of the 920's, it's just a 'lil 4-din spring that sits inside the 16-din monster. Voila - 916's.

I'm really pretty psyched with the quiver I have going

    Super long tours/ Ski mountaineering:
    160 K2 Sahale w/ TLT Classics

    Bushwhacking/touring for turns:
    180 Cross Terrains w/ 3 pins

    Everyday Touring:
180 Heli Daddies w/ TLT Classics

    Inbounds/Sidecountry:
    180 Heli Daddies w/ Dukes

    Rock/Park/Early/Late season:
    179 K2 Public Enemies w/ Mojo 15's

    Tele:
    177 TM:X w/ O3's

the only thing I'd really like to upgrade is my Powder boards:

180 Pow Plus w/ 977 I want to move to something lighter, a touch longer, and maybe a slight bit softer in the shovel

I'd also love to throw in a pair of bump skis, and possibly something like a 6 star for real hard pack days, but only since this is the "ultimate quiver thread"

For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Pretty close to my ideal. If anything i need to dump a couple of sets.

    Pow: Lotus 138's (192) with 916's

Sidecountry: Unity Hiatt Twin (155-140-155) with Dukes

Non pow: Legend XXL with 916's

fun1: Rossi Scratch BC (185) with FKS 155's
    fun2: K2 Public enemy (174) with 914's

park: Volkl expression (164) with centre mounted 914's
