Beast 14 - anything fit same binding holes?

I picked up some Katana Vwerks, which came with Beast 14s that I don't want to use (and mounted for much larger BSL that won't adjust down my boot).

The Beast 14 toe is placed such that I could use that mount for my BSL and be approx +1 cm, which is probably fine. The toe shares the hole pattern with the Dynafit Radical, from what I can tell.

Does the Beast 14/16 heel (same pattern AFAIK) share any mount holes with any other binding? A demo track version of a Dynafit?

The Beast 14 toe pattern matches the Radical 2 (not the 1) which is now renamed as the Rotation. The heel holes only fit the Beast 14/16 heels. The demo version of the Beast 14, called the Beast 14 Test, has the standard heel (which has plenty of length adjustment) paired with a sliding toe that has 60mm of overall length adjustment in 10mm increments and uses the standard mounting holes. So if you can find a set of them they'll go in to the existing holes but will then adjust for the correct mount position and your bsl. Just make sure they come with the Power Insert brackets to attached to your boot heels if you don't already have them.

Thanks - I have the Dynafit spur attachment things on my boots, since I have a pair of Beast 14 on another set of skis. I don't like them much, so would prefer to not use this second set of Beasts.

Are the Beast toes identical to the Radical 2 / Rotation toes? If I can find just the Radical 2 or Rotation heels, then I could just pair them with the toes I already have...? (drill the skis for the new heels)

Yep, the Beast 14 toes are identical to the Rad 2's/Rotations.

Skimo sells individual heel pieces of you’re looking to reuse the beast toe pieces.

Thanks - I'm just gathering info, seeing what my options are with what I've got. If I find a set of heels that'd work, that might be a good way to go.

I read about the "H" pattern mounting block in the Vwerks skis, and measured out the pattern on paper. I briefly considered picking up some Salomon Shifts, but those may not fit the H pattern due to a center screw in the Shift mount. I was just reading about the Marker Duke PT, which sounds like it would fit in the H pattern - want to look into those more, I've never even fiddled with them.

The Vwerks Katana seems like it could be a good option for a travel touring + inbounds pow ski, so I'm considering whether to use a burlier pin binding on it.
