I couldnt find a thread - or a general Blizzard thread for that matter, maybe I am an idiot.
Anyway... if anyone is riding these, where did you mount them?

I have two pairs of current gen Rustler 10s in 186 . . . 5 foot 8 inches and weigh around 170, maybe a bit less this year. First pair was mounted on the line and felt fine, but the ski is a tad long for me (tried the 180 and it was too short) so the 2nd pair is mounted +5mm which I like a little better.

How long are the skis and what do you weigh?

Just got a pair last week, 186 and they are mounted on the line. 6 foot 1 inch 195 pounds I dont mess around with different mounting points but I am really liking these skis. I had 2 pairs since they first came out and never really trusted them, these new ones with the extra metal are great. They hold surprisingly well on hard pack and are forgiving in new snow, which my old knees appreciate. I have a lot of skis but I have used these every day since I got them and not felt the need to switch.

I’m 5’8” 145 lbs, my 180s are mounted on the line and I like ‘em there. Great all-arounders.
Would you say the mount point feeling is consistent between the 10 and 11, like let’s say I like the 11 at -1 should I mount the 10 at -1 ?
This forum is such a mess, lol... I cant quote anyone. But here we go...
GregL: 6ft 3inches 185/190lbs... everything else I own is 188-191, but I wanted something more versatile/easier to ski/that I can manuever around for when stuff is fairly skied off and Im in bumpy bowls and crappier terrain, so I took a flier and went with the 186s. I imagine with more than 3-4 inches of snow I will ski my Sender 110s (except on blower days where Ill ski something wider).
Tony911: Good to hear, we are around the same size.
This might work to quote you, no idea. See reply above.Originally Posted by GregL

On the line, 192cm is a great daily driver. Super solid edge grip with a shape that allows you to not get in trouble. Just took pair to Europe with atk FR15 mounted and they are perfect. Pretty sneaky lightweight too for how much they charge.
"He thinks the carpet pissers did this?"

I think you will find the 186 too small, but try -1

Yeah, I was thinking -1 as well since they are sort of short for me. I took a flier.
50/50 chance someone gets a steal on skis I skied 2-3 times this summer.
You are a bit taller but a bit lighter than me.
I ski 185-191 cm skis and I dont find the 186 too short. Not once since I got them have I thought I need a longer ski, in fact in some of the tighter trees Im glad they arent longer.
I was hesitant to buy these after my previous experience with them but I am loving them here at Fernie. These are way more all around than the previous generation.
I'm 5'9" 180lb, mounted 180s on the line and I like them a lot as an all-rounder. Seems like anything more in any one direction (powder, carving) would involve sacrifices in other directions.
Sweet, thanks for all the feedback bros. I will mount them on the line and see what happens.
