There weren't a lot of Jews killed in Russia proper during WWII because prior to the Revolution Jews weren't allowed in Mother Russia, only in the provinces--the Pale of Civilization. Stalin/Russia killed something like 7 million people in Ukraine, the Baltics, Belarus, and eastern Poland. Possibly more people killed than Hitler did (not that it’s competition - they’re both pure evil). All these countries also were invaded and ravaged by the Nazis - they just got tossed back and forth between the two.

How any of this history could be used to justify Russia invading Ukraine in the 21st century is beyond me - but Cono is here to triple down on it while calling mags holocaust deniers and anti-semites for questioning his support of Putin.

The question,,is risk. What are you willing to risk? 3 yrs in, they are only worse off than they might have been if a deal had been made in Istanbul, or Minsk. You helped make that loss happen.

So the risk, is they lose half of,Ukraine, possible more. Putting us in a worse position,,with a harder decisions to make.
