25/26 backcountry touring boots and skis??

I haven't seen anything about any new touring boots or skis for next year. Is there anything interesting coming out? I've asked in the next years gear thread and nothing has shown up...

Thanks for starting this... As much as anything I'm also wondering where this coverage is. Is there a new radio from BCA? A new avalanche pack? Totally bummed that we are just getting generic press releases like this Blizzard Zero G update summary: https://www.powder.com/gear/blizzard...y-touring-skis... Where is the coverage?

Dang, that boot design looks pretty slick. Nice to not see a boa on there. Probably the newer cavernous Dynafit last instead of the tlt [emoji6[emoji640][emoji637]]/[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]] last that is still the best fitting touring boot I’ve ever had.

I’d guess that the lower clog of that new Dynafit boot is similar to the Ridge Pro, which I’d hardly call cavernous. But getting rid of the tongue will definitely open up more room above the foot, width should be about the same though.

You’re right, not a fair assessment of some Dynafits more recent lasts.

interesting that they position the 2 skis not just as different in width for more or less snow, but more differentiated in weight and performance: choose the 102 for more ski performance and the 95 for easy skiing and weight savings.Either way, it seems like a good improvement from the previous models.

New travers coming, looks to be beefed up a bit and weighs around 1060. New carbon pro edition tops the line

The Sender looks like a Quattro competitor, kinda wish it wasn't Grip Walk tho.

Seems like it. Also a new free touring ski coming, judging from aurel lardy's Instagram.

Bringing this thread back to share the skimoco fall gear preview and share a few of the highlights: https://skimo.co/preview?srsltid=Afm...pBNUenbc1woGjw
Black Diamond helio skis line is getting overhauled with an 88, 94 and 102 mm offerings. Dynafit looks to be updating all of their light boots, the new blacklight will be based off of the ridge platform and there is a new mezzalama and DNA as well as a blacklight pro binding. Plum is updating their lineup with the serac, an oazo heel on a worm screw plate with elastic travel as well as a refined r140 and new s170 with an updated toe. Ski trab is bringing back the old style vario heel everyone seems to love. The last big thing is the new zipfit espresso touring liner is coming out next year officially.
