Lost all the buttons for inserting images, vids, links etc in the reply box even in the advanced view... manually bbcoding still works...

I have to open quote-reply and edits in new tabs or it won't load (right click open in new tab)

or do you just want to know status? Like every time shit gets borked here (which as we all know is often), people start posting about it in many threads across many sub forums, complaining about how it's not working and demanding that it be fixed or at least demanding that they be informed of current status, and it is pretty damn impossible to keep track of them all and post in all of them. Status is the IT guys know about the problems and worked on them. Thought they were fixed, they were told "no, not fixed", they said "we'll work on it some more".

I'm not even a regular moderator anymore, but you just made my point. I have posted just that in a number of places but there's so many different threads and places where people demand updates be posted in their thread to their question that it's fucking exhausting. And yet you act all indignant that YOU are not getting an update here when YOU have requested it. I quit the last time shit went south because I got really fucking tired of being blamed for shit breaking or for not properly informing everyone in every thread imaginable about what was being done. TGR and IT guys get notified, they say "we'll get on it", they come back saying "it's fixed", they get told "no, shit is still broken", they say "ok, we'll keep at it", repeat ad nauseum. Is that the info you want? Because that's what happens. Every few months. And when it gets close to being back to mostly fixed, we stop bugging them. Obviously we're not there yet this go round.

Thank you for reminding me why I quit. I'm not posting another goddamn thing about it. Ever. Not my circus not my monkeys.

Yea this isn't your problem. I'm certainly not saying it is. I get that's frustrating for you. I don't expect you to have the answers. I only responded to you because you say it was unreasonable for people to ask.

But I also am making the point that issue isn't that some hasn't given an update here. It is there have been no updates anywhere. We can only shout into the ether because there are no updates anywhere and nobody that we know to reach out to, so we wonder if anyone is even aware of the issue.

I've worked customer service. I've worked IT. When you have a known issue you put a message up so that people don't bug you about it as much.

And @ Yates. No I am not fucking willing to "pay" for it. This is supposed to be run by a million dollar a year net media company. If they want to offer this as a part of their package then do so, if they don't then close the fucker and be done with it but this is embarrassing.
