Judge hits [emoji639] dingers. Time for some dodgie fans to start chirping about how he’s overrated

idk man, lighting money on fire is not the best way to keep warm but what's the point of having a team if you can have an all time infield with jram and lindor and you let the SS walk?

and then you trade him for Gimenez and let him go for what?

i am not saying they can't put together a competitive team but it would frustrate me like crazy as a fan to have to watch talented young guys that should be the core go.

Not overrated at all. Just a complete beast, and probably the best hitter in the league.

I look forward to spending the next few decades debating whether Mike Trout or Aaron Judge is the best player of this generation to never win a ring.

Devers with a historic start to the season that rivals what Judge is doing.

Judge took April off last year and still ended up with almost sixty. The first week is fun but let’s not try to draw too much meaning out of a few games. Although I do have to bump my projected Yankee win total to 162

Devers continues to do his thing. At this point only Cole can stop him.

Three live games in so far. Have walked over 50 kms in the last few days. That is like 10 miles or so.Fun stat I heard today - Jays are over .500 for the first time since last late April.

Guardians in town for only 1 game, seems odd. Padres starting out hot. Looks like trading Profar was a good move :-|

Guardos have 3 with the Pads unless I read the schedule wrong. Which is good, because I think it's snowing with tornadoes in Cleveland right now - classic opening day weather on the north coast.

Friars look legit. Bravos, ooof, not so much.

(unintentionally) hilarious quote from the Athletic about this

Some red flags were raised around baseball, albeit whispers rather than public accusations, after Profar had a career-best season for the San Diego Padres in 2024. But the Braves attributed his power and overall offensive gains to adjustments Profar made with his lower body in his batting stance, after working out with Fernando Tatis Jr. and his dad the previous winter.

did the Braves consider the other possibility from him working out with Tatis? lol

Oh, my bad on the schedule, thought that was odd...I guess I was looking at the promo schedule and not calendar view. Not sure why mlb has so many different versions online.

The number one there would be a Dodger. One Willie Davis, specifically.

How is it possible that baseball has two players that are named Max Muncy right now? Seems improbable.

But also, how the fuck do they have the same birthday?

And why did the A's draft both of them?

This is the absolutely most White Sox way to lose a game. Either that or the Guardos are in full Angels in the Outfield mode.

That White Sox series was not pretty (Guardos walked in the wining run in the 9th the night before). But a sweep is a sweep!

Wow, Padres are hot, hopefully can keep that up and get some injuries recovered. Also impressed Petco was packed for a Monday April game.

Pads are really good this year. I could see an I-5 NLCS for sure.
