    Custom Praxis Veneer Quixote Skis

    SOLD to a Mag

Heavily debating if I want to sell these, I had previously called these my "Cold Dead Hands" Skis, but they don't get as much use as they deserve because of how big my quiver is and they're a little too wide for the spot they currently fill.

182cm long, Heavy/Carbon/Veneer/4 Flex Custom Build. Really nice topsheet with the Birds Eye Maple Veneer, which is one of the harder/more durable woods available. 118mm underfoot, asym. They're a sweet ski, "fit resort powder ski playful charger" to a tee. Super surfy and nimble, but I've never found their speed limit. This is my favorite Praxis Core Layup, perfect combo of damp but energetic, and they have a low swing weight. I think these are roughly 2150g/ski. They cut through chop and variable like a scalpel, and carve very well for a ski their size. Happy with many different turn sizes.

Photos are a little washed out, they don't do they topsheets justice.

I'm 5'10 200lbs and have never felt these were too short, they float well. Still very manageable for smaller skiers.

They're in good shape. The edges have some scuffs, the bases also have some scratches and scrapes, and the tails have some top sheet nicks from sloppy technique. Maybe need a layer of wax. No core shots.

1 mount at -.75cm behind the line for Pivots with a 296mm bsl with binding freedom inserts.

Considering Q's are only available by custom order now, and this same ski would cost $1200 new during the custom 40% off sale, and I am hesitant to sell, I'm asking $425+ shipping, or free local Bay Area/Tahoe Pickup. Will be in SLC in mid Feb too. SOLD

I have some brand new rasta Pivot 15 GW bindings on there which I could include for what I just paid for them ($270), but I'd prefer to sell flat.

    PM me.

    Custom Praxis Veneer Quixote Skis

Such a great ski! I just spent 3 days in just about every early winter condition you can find on mine, and they were phenomenal everywhere! Big mtn lines, above the shin pow in steep trees, cut up run outs, groomers, hard pack, skied off bumps and everything between, these skis are a ball! I forgot just how good they are as well until this last weekend, so damn fun!

Yep, I'm in hoarding more of the OG and Skinny Qs...but I'm a 188 guy.

Please consider giving priority to long time members here. We gotta keep the almost extinct Praxis in the family.
