The app hasn’t been supported in years according to Mods.
My workaround for pictures is to post them from the app with no text at all. If you want to add text, do it in a separate post and spell out your numbers or you get the dreaded emojis.
I literally can’t read half the posts here. With a bit of info no maybe this place can become readable again?
Posted here because it’s a ski forum and many only read this particular forum. I know it’s not stoke. But hoping y’all play this game properly going forward so the stoke can bury the board again without the glitches now that is snowing. Finally.

I’m not sure why anybody would be using the app in the first place. The desktop version works just fine on the iPhone. And you can even change the screen blue if you wanna.

I can’t login on the website. Not on my phone, iPad, or computer. Using the same exact password, I can login to the app no problem. And stay logged in for months. I’ve tried resetting the password, tried different computers, nothing. The app is the only way I can access TGR. So now I just spell out numbers so I don’t get emoji’d

I could be wrong, but I do not think Tapatalk is the problem, it's the TGR-branded app that is the problem (even though the TGR app uses tapatalk). If you use Tapatalk -- and not the "TGR app" -- you should be fine.

The problem is the latest iPhone update, which by all accounts is a POS. Numbers on Tapatalk and Android work just fine.

Tapatalk on my pixel definitely shows the random numbers. Also, when I right click using chrome (Mac), it thinks TGR is displaying some sort of video cause it gives me these options:

Use the TGR app. See the emojis. Don’t care. iPhone 8+, with ois 15. Haven’t logged into the regular website in years. Given the login issues, don’t care to.
I see all the pics. A few emojis. Whatever, skiing is more important.

Tapatalk is refusing to rollout updates to it's older apps to push users into paying a subscription fee for premium features. There was a onetime payment for premium users but they've only updated the standard app (+subscription) to be compatible with iOS18.
Probably the best thing to do would be to prevent the app from connecting to the forum, but I'm not sure if there's a way to do that without also breaking the stock Tapatalk app as collateral damage.
Users still running it despite the breaking behavior are like the people out there still trying to run QuickBooks 99 in 2024.
