    Another Ski Recommendation Thread

Retiring the old Brahma 88 as my 'no new snow for many days' ski. Looking to replace it with something from mid 80's to mid 90's. Its use will be primarily Squaw/Big Sky, stable / killer edge / loves Squaw heavy leftovers-chop, pretty much everything but new snow ski. Both ski areas are very different so I'd like a ski that can turn tighter in trees (Squaw) and also rip gs turns on Lenin at Big sky.

Is this a Mantra M6 or M7? Enforcer 89? I see conflicting info on the new Declivity; the 92 reads nice but non-paid reviews don't seem so glowing.

    1st world problems.

JSkis Fastforward doesn’t really have a speed limit, but is easy and intuitive for the trees.

I'm kinda on the same quest. Thinking M7, new Enforcer 94, Commander 92, 4FRNT MSP 91.

I ended up with a '23/4 Enforcer 94 in that spot this year. It's pretty darned solid, but could use a bit more versatility in tight spots. I need to ski it more, but I think it's a pretty good firm snow ski.

I have a 'deal' so I am limited to M7 or Mantra 88, The Declivity 92 or 88, Enforcer 89 (only in size 185, which is longer than I want) or the new Anomaly (which I am pretty much leaving w/the Brahma 88) and a few other brands that don't have a solid candidate.

The more I think about it its just a hard pack / groomer / bust through left overs ski. When it snows, I have a ski for 'that.'

Anyone been on the Declivity or know someone that has it?

A buddy of mine in Marin may have a spare set of Declivity 92s available.

Let us know how you like it. I was going to grab that ski for conditions you describe, but I ended up with the E94 as part of a trade.

No real complaints with the E94 except I don't find it super engaging as a carver. It plays really well as a low tide all mountain ski which is probably what I need, anyway.
