    Question Epic Mix Question

So does the Epic Mix app now only track lift rides if you explicitly tell it to "start GPS tracking?" Seems like in the olden days it always recorded lift rides without turning on any tracking, but I skied on Sunday and the app recorded zero lifts for me.

edit: I guess they now call it "My Epic." Not "Epic Mix" anymore.

Yeah kinda bs. If you don't start gps tracking it will only recognize you were there. They really really want you to use the Bluetooth pass option.
Bonus though, standing in a lift line during a wind hold, and the tracking read me riding the lift every three minutes, so I had mucho vert to brag about in the bar that day

U are correct,,, does not track unless u start the GPS tracking. Kinda bush league having to worry about starting/stopping that bullshit with ur phone when u just want to get skiing….

The old way…it just tracked ur pass…and didn’t have to worry about the damn phone.

This was at Whistler, but I'll admit that I care. I'm an inveterate tracker. I have a Garmin watch, but the altimeter shit the bed and told me I skied 179 runs with a total descent of 179k feet. Cheap Chinese junk.
