A and B gully popped this afternoon. Surprisingly well filled in, especially on the first lap. Nice little surprise I wasn't expecting today! The extra snow this week has made a big difference on the conditions.

Yep, was skiing really well - lovely little treat. Was surprised how good the coverage was.

They opened up west bowl half an hour ago. Just the bowl, made everyone traverse outer limits.

It was the exact kind of shitshow you expected to see with coverage like this.

Don't get me wrong the skiing everywhere else was fantastic. Just, let the tourists put first tracks on freshly opened frontside until its not so boney. Sharks at every turn.

another 6 overnight, and its skiing well. All the terrain the holiday visitors need is ready, and the more "interesting" terrain is filing in well.

    WH2 a,b,c again amazing

Staying in the Bow Valley for Christmas, might make it out for a day or 2 this week. If I was looking for some one to mould Intuitions in Banff or Canmore who should I talk to (do you still mess with them mntlion?)

ER7 I can see. Last week's snow made a big difference on how filled in it looked. But ER 3 still looked really grime even after the snow. Especially lower down. Not sure I will guinea pig that one! Then again, I was quite surprised by WH 2, so who knows.???

I wasn’t there, but 3 opened yesterday apparently. Was described to me as a “pucker fest” and “totally afraid to ski it the way you wanted to”.

About how you would describe today. Because against substantially better judgment, they dropped the ptarm chute ropes some time today, without notice. Including the upper entrances.

Each turn was 50/50 you got deeper than knee pow, or about 4 inches and a boulder.

I came off Lipalian which is just straight shale and rock, thinking they would be any different. Haven't looked at bases but it didn't feel good.

with WB, ER7, and some of WH2 open and SSV opening the dive, things are shaping up for the higher end terrain.
