    Orbea Customer Service/Part Replacement: over a year and counting

    My sister has a 5 or so year old Orbea e-bike. I'm not sure what flavor, but it's a hybrid/gravel bike. The up/down switches to change assist levels has the upper 'cap' broken off. She has tried multiple times to get it resolved for better than a year. It sounds like have been giving her continual lip service on shipping and delays. This after a fair bit of effort just getting that response.

    Could anyone here or a known source supply this part?

    She might have better luck dealing with the motor system company.
    It seems that its cube and orbea that i hear the most reoccuring poor warrantee and service responses although orbea still seems to have a n america market share. Internet chat occasionally from most any compny but those 2 stand out recently on the eeb forum. I think the part would be specced by cube but is a motor companies part. Motor co may heve a replacement or maybe a alternative model mode selector

    Is she trying to deal with orbea directly or going through a dealer? A shop should be able to order a new switch either straight from orbea or probably from like qbp- i think they have some of those mahle parts.

    As far as I know she has gone through a rep and possibly a shop. It sounds like it's been ordered but keeps getting 'delayed....and delayed......and delayed'.
