Who are you listening to?
Vince Staples just released a new album and continues to impress me. Etoufee is a banger. His Netflix show is also pretty damn funny and well done.

I've been listening to lil yachty a lot lately.... His Psych-Rock album release of 2023 was my favorite album of last year. And his "Bad Cameo" album with James Blake has been on heavy rotation this summer.
Lil Yachty is so much fun
Pink Friday 2 was the soundtrack to my ski season. Every time I would get on JP for the first time on a powder day I would play that album so that "Barbie Dangerous" would be playing on the traverse out. Great pump up music.

I'm old, white and live in Idaho but I just discovered Run the Jewels. I had heard of them but never really explored. So fucking good.
Carry on.

"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. We must never, ever be boring."
After 30 years of collecting dust in the crates, I finally cracked the seal on Straight Up Sewaside, the 1993 sophomore album by Das Efx.
The whole album is a banger, if you dig Golden Era boom bap, but this is my repeat jam:

I’m not all that into A$AP Rocky, but this video is bonkers!
It’s like Luis Bunuel meets vintage Michel Gondry, with a slab of Monty Python and a side order of Roy Andersson tossed in for good measure…

I'm not all that into rap, at all, but this song is cool!
It's like Wu-Tang Tang clan meets Budos Band
Late to the game on these guys…went down a JID rabbit hole after hearing him spew crazy nice on Eminem’s “Fuel.”
