    BBQ propane to natural gas

I want to convert a Weber Q3200 to natural gas. Weber says they no longer support that. I read that the jet nozzle can either be drilled or replaced. Amazon has a bunch of nozzles. Are these nozzles generally universal for all gas appliances, or would they be manufacturer-specific?

    Douche nozzles?
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

I'm probably not the only person to forget the grill is on and empty a 20lber at least once, so I decided not to hook it up to the NG, instead just buy another 20lber

I’ve had a NG grill for 4 years now and never left it on. So nice to never have to think about refilling tanks.

I’m glad I’m not the only one.

I believe they are specific. I drilled out a Members Mark and it worked fine.
Guest kept leaving the NG grill on at our condo complex. We put a timer valve on to solve.
NG is the way to go.

Just search AMZN for [your grill] propane to natural gas kit.

Here's a conversion chart for propane to NG orifice sizes: https://andersonforrester.com/conversion-chart/

Seems pretty straightforward. Worst that happens is you drill it too small or a little too big and your grill burns too cold or too hot, in which case you'd just have to buy a new nozzle, which you'd have to do anyways if you didn't drill it.

Is it possible to get a regulator that would make propane work with natural gas orifices? A propane regulator that lowers the pressure enough to work with the ng orifices. It would be nice if I could use the same BBQ when I go for a quick BBQ in the mountains.
