One of the comments said something like "it's an AM transmission from another dimension".

It's a lot of music but it's amazing

I've been treating it like two separate albums.

    Bummer.
Missed them in Oakland and SF, both shows at small, intimate venues, too.

The sound is both eerie and comforting.

    I’m digging it

Pretty interesting. I’m putting it on Spotify rotation for a bit.

I don’t think it’s on Spotify is it?

Listening to them now. Might be different from what ice posted, but it’s Cindy Lee and interesting.

I see what you mean, that piece ice posted isn’t on Spotify. I just dialed it up there because that what I was on at the moment. Never heard of them before - interesting group.

Anyway, ignore me - I’m getting old and easily confused.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who found it “dense” or perhaps “convoluted” is more accurate.

Besides his meandering and kinda clunky writing, it was very entitled hipster in that he just assumed everyone reading it knew all of the bands, writers/critics, and other pop culture ephemera he name checked (I spent a great deal of time Googling).

Anyway, I merely included it as it was the first piece that popped up after I searched “Cindy Lee” and I was hoping it would have been more of a career retro than a deep blog about “hipster criticism.”

Yup, night and day. That is a well written piece.

I didn't make it - I had a b-day party to go to and got to meet telefreewasatch for the first time there coincidently. So that was cool.

I did have a plan to go to the show if one of my kids had a melt down. I woulda been the old weird dad in the corner listening.
