Even the workarounds don't work. I tried to post pics using an outside URL (apparently, the only option) and get told I don't have the right privileges.

How many months does it take to get a server change straightened out?

FWIW, if you truly have an outside url, try unchecking the box that says this: "Retrieve remote file and reference locally". It will put [img] tags around the link and that should post. If that box is checked, you're just doing the same thing as before, and that is currently broken.

Yes, they GAF, but at what level is hard to say. Because of the general neglect, for years we have had discussions about how to keep this place from going down the drain, how to save it in whatever fashion is possible. Internal discussions but no easy solutions. And to state the obvious, berating the mods to fix shit they cannot control is not a solution, even if it is easy. But not my circus, not my monkeys anymore.

I mean, it's quite obvious that the site is not a priority to HQ, right? That said, they *are* paying to keep this site running, and they *are* paying people to fix the shit that got broken when they moved to a new server. So they obviously do care to some degree. But whether there is a limit to how much they care, whether there is a limit to how much they will spend, I have no idea.
