YouTube tips and tricks?

Anyone have any tips for preserving quality when uploading to YouTube? My AK edit somehow looks like crap at 1080. Uploaded from Quick using the "Full HD" option.

I notice the quality is low right after you upload it.

And if you don't give it time and fast internet while watching.

Make sure you run a minimum 30fps (after slo mo) so if you want .5 speed shoot in 60fps, if you want .25 speed shoot in 120fps.

If you are zooming in post same idea. If you want to zoom in 2x you gotta shoot in 2k. If you wanna zoom in 4x you gotta shoot in 4k.
