Ok. I’ve got big feet and seem to be dumb enough to buy really small boots. Size 14: meet your 29.5 boot.
That process had me franken-boot some liners before punting on them.
The Mimic liners are from the Hawx Ultra touring boot (love that boot BYW). I heated them once. (I understand they can be heated again and again. If that’s true, I think these Mimic liners are really interesting.). Turns out the heating wasn’t enough, my foot was just too long. So… I scooped some of the foam off the toe. Still no dice. Moved to a 30.5 LV intuition tour. Perfect.
The Dalbello Krypton wrap (stock intuition liner) is pretty much the same story, except I got more aggressive with the toe. Ended up with zipfit 30.5 and it’s golden.
In brief, but for my abuse of the toe, one heating, these have very little use.
Rather not see them in a land fill.
$50 each, mag pays for shipping?
