TGR Maggots 24 - March Madness bracket

    New link, new bracket
    Your old cbs login works.
Just make sure you are in the 2024 bracket using the link below.

    Invitation link:
    TGR Maggots 24
    No password
    https://picks.cbssports.com/college-...24_and_cbsinvm

    Rules/pts same as last time:
$20/entry* - to be paid to the winner or the winner’s designated charity/trust fund/PAC/pet project upon conclusion of the tournament. [* new entry amount — hopefully no one is relying on either their ante or their winnings as income…]

Max brackets per player = 2
    Scoring is as follows:
    First: 1
    Second: 2
    Sweet 16: 4
    Elite 8: 8
    Final 4: 16
    Champ: 32
    Tiebreaker: final game total pts

Please remember to fill out your bracket completely before the first game on Thursday morning. Every year there are some incomplete ones.

Tournament brackets available to fill out as soon as the NCAA tournament committee releases them on Sunday (tomorrow).

I’m in. Spent four minutes on the bracket so it’s either a winner or last place probably.

    Choose Vermont Catamounts over Duke.

C'mon c'mon. It's fun, it's cheap, it's potentially profitable, and it only takes 5 minutes to make wild-ass guesses, I know this for a fact. You have about an hour to get on board, do it. Doooo eeeet.

I guess that extra $10 buy in really swayed some people's decision this year.

I owe plenty of you at least $20 from last year's bloodbath.
Good luck to all. I went with UConn again, so they surely will not win.

Gotta support the Construction... errrr Constitution State in some way.

Two missing players - can you guys see this link for results?

We have two more entrants than the current pool might suggest

Two missing players - can you guys see this link for results?
(hopefully not only accessible thru my login)
Branden & Bobby had access to the old "TGR Maggots" pool
[I thought I'd archived it, but apparently that's not possible...]
    https://picks.cbssports.com/college-...===/standings/

The rules for that archive pool are the same regarding points -- the only difference was entries were limited to one per player. They both look like complete legit efforts to participate, so we just need to keep track of both.

So, primary pool standings link here for "TGR Maggots 24" with 10 participants: https://picks.cbssports.com/college-...o===/standings

& secondary pool standings link here for "TGR Maggots" with 2 participants: https://picks.cbssports.com/college-...===/standings/

LMK if you can see both pools' standings links, thx!
(out skiing, will check in later if needed)

I need to know whether you guys can see the standings for the two players that signed into the archived bracket. Please let me know.

I don’t have time to republish those brackets to update the group to demonstrate fairness. And I don’t have tools to move them into the right bracket.

So if no one else can see them independently, I will unfortunately just have to disqualify them. (And they both did well on day 1)

    I see them on there.
The point totals put them in 1st and 2nd as far as I can see.

Go to the top right where it says TGR Maggots 24. When you scroll over that, it gives you options of TGR Maggots, TGR Maggots 23, and 24
This guys are in the TGR Maggots pool.
I say we just keep track by points. It will be pretty obvious who wins by total points.
