    Car tire sabotage

For at least the 5th time since acquiring my current vehicle I've found screws buried in my tires, usually in the running surface, but twice in the sidewall. I'm not driving over surfaces particularly known for tire punctures, so my paranoia is raging. None of our other vehicles seem to have this issue. Is this a common thing i.e. targeted sabotage? The vehicle is one that Digital Death would lust over.

It’s a catchy tune. Enjoy the ride. Unless you have a flat tire.

    Pictures of the screws?

Are they the same or random?

Black oxide, gold, gray, zinc, grade 5, grade 8?
    Square, hex, allen, phillips?
    Wood, metal, hvac, lag?
    Length, diameter?

Exactly how are you getting screwed? Perhaps you need to include pictures of your wife too, just to be safe.

Also, pictures of the car and parking spot.

I found a broken off trowel handle inside a tire once--not in the tread, rattling around inside.. And plenty of screws in the treads over the years. Screws would be a lousy way to try to sabotage a tire. The (supposedly ex) boyfriend of a woman I was fucking punctured all 4 of my tires with a screwdriver once. She wound up marrying the guy.

Roofing nails FTW, or…so I’m told

I would imagine it would take quite a bit of force to punch through a sidewall with a screwdriver. 4 times. He must’ve been really pissed at you

Just keep in mind to always keep tire replacement cost love then the deductible. Turns into a real shit show for owners if the have a AWD and shitty tread.

2” roofing nails are the best, from what I’m told as well. Removing valve stems is also supposed to be excellent.
