It's sort of funny how everyone thinks it's so rainy in London. At Heathrow the average annual precipitation is only 24 inches. Compare that to nearly 50 inches in New York City. I think what gets people is the fact that the rainfall is spread throughout the year in London.

    You mean in a fine mist that occurs 24 x 7 x 365?

Yep, it shouldn't be much of a change for anyone coming from the Pacific Northwest or BC.

What does it being an island have to do with anything?

So far so good. Got caught in the rain yesterday, but no big deal. It didn’t last long and was avoidable mostly w awnings

Went to the portrait gallery w the spawn and then wondered around through st James park and back through Westminster to tower bridge. My kid had been to the Mayflower already since it’s near her place so we finished there for a pie. Thumbs up so far

Going to meet her now to plan out next moves.

She was complaining about not seeing any foxes yet and her friends had. Walking back to my hotel after dropping her off, I saw three lol

    London recommendation in April

Today’s target itinerary of Westminster Abbey and the Tate Britain were successfully completed. Both outstanding. I think the last time I was in WA, it cost 5 and now it’s 30! It might have been free the first time. I can remember. Worth it tho. Love the history in that place

The Tate Brittain was better than expected too. Some outstanding Henry Moore sculptures and other famous crap
