    RIP JamesP

Shitty news. Just got word that fellow mag JamesP passed away in a paragliding accident. Although it's been several years since we last met, I had some cool fun laps with James, and shared my first Columbia Icefields attempt with him. "Our deepest condolences go out to his wife, Zara, young daughter Odessa, family, and friends inside and outside the flying community."

No fucking way!!! This sucks! RIP man.

I always felt bad for him because his screen name was so close to Pio's.

Awful news! So sorry and sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I enjoyed his posts from the rocky mtn trench, had me reminiscing many times of experiences between Golden and Canal Flats.

Right, when Pio first showed up and I had not gotten the names squared away, I was like what the fuck happened to this guy?

JamesP was one of the guys I paid attention to when I saw him post. Reached out a couple times via pm with questions about BC and he was great getting back and sharing information. Although I did not know him personally I feel a loss from this world.

I have not done it, otherwise I would, but if someone could set up a gift fund for his wife and daughter I would gladly donate. He was a longtime member and made his contribution to the community.

Prayers for his Wife, Daughter, Family and Friends.

Oh man. RIP. Always seemed like a super nice guy, even when I mixed him up with Pio a couple of times. What a shame.
