    24 Hours In DFW?

I searched. Got a 20 hour layover, I got a hotel. I have only ever driven through. Any musts for a single middle age dude?
    Brisket? Music?
Thoughts on Sleater Kinney? (I don’t fly in until almost 8, so I guess not)

Book Depository Museum and Dealey Plaza were well worth a visit. One of those places where the history hangs in the air so thickly you can almost touch it.

Your schedule probably doesn't work out for a visit to Fireside Surf..but it is only a 20 minute drive from DFW

In all likelihood, I will probably get some Popeye’s, some coconut oil, and furiously masturbate while pretending not to be watching amputee-midget-creampie porn.

Room 212 at the Motel 5, knock three times.

I’ve heard good things about Pecan Lodge for BBQ, but haven’t been there personally. Go to texasmonthly.com and look at their recommendations for DFW BBQ.

Brisket is OK, but if it were me, I’d head to Del Frisco’s and get a steak.

This. Even if you don’t want to do the depository, a few minutes in the plaza is a worthwhile experience.

Also just driving by Jerry World. Probably not worth the trek on its own but I remember being amazed the first time I saw it for no reason other than its sheer scale.

We spent the afternoon wandering around Deep Ellum this spring before the Dallas Dead&Co show. Tons of live music/bars and restaurants in that region….had lunch at a killer BBQ joint
