Where are the drivetrain deals?
As in, the blue collar drivetrain buyer who just wants SLX/XT/GX level stuff.

You have to purchase from several sights, but SLX is cheap right now. I think it's going away in Shimano's next generation. Planet/Colorado Cyclist has derailleurs and Cassettes. There are deals for both XT and GX as well.

Search for “ronde cycling” on eBay. Been buying shimano stuff from him for years. Dirt cheap, wicked fast shipping.

Almost like it was a take off or something. the cogs look straight, true, I guess I'll find out when I install it someday.

Definitely a take-off but nothing wrong with that. I just bought Mrs Roxtar a new bike and had them swap out the drivetrain for what I wanted. Those parts will be perfectly fine for whoever buys them.

Their site is definitely "fuck buying from this scam site" level look/feel but I've both purchased from them and returned purchased goods to them. Purchase went smoothly, return IIRC took longer than expected to get a credit but wasn't anything ridiculous. Would def buy from them again.

Any deals floating around on basic trail bikes? My wife is getting back into riding and her 2013 giant trance really could use $500 of suspension work that I would rather put toward a modern bike. Size M 29” 120-140mm travel mostly easier trails.

Canfield has 165mm cranks, and 150/155mm as well if you want to go even shorter. Not super cheap or super light but they are solid. Have had them on my Rail for 3 yrs now.

No deals really as they are the hot thing but SLX cranks are good quality, affordable and come in 165mm

Basically a Code RSC with the new ugly master cylinder for $99 a brake, hose routing is a little goofy.... The site looks a little sketchy, but they have been legit for me on two seperate orders.

Got a set a week or so ago, the rear didn't come with any mountain hardware, but the front did. Still a smoking deal.

The pros closet has also had some killer open box stuff + great coupons recently. I got a open box 170mm XT crank for $95 w/ coupon.
