Any deals on park worthy 29” rear wheels? Thinking of having a part wheel for my bike with a beef ass tire so I don’t blow up my we are ones with tires I’m willing to pedal riding lifts.
I grabbed an XT cassette from the CO Cyclist closeout to have in my parts store. It arrived in a ziploc bag within a plastic shipping bag, no cardboard, the plastic fake freehub holding the cassette together was shattered. Almost like it was a take off or something. the cogs look straight, true, I guess I'll find out when I install it someday.
Bike closet has XT cassettes for $99. Sometimes they drop lower
Their site is definitely "fuck buying from this scam site" level look/feel but I've both purchased from them and returned purchased goods to them. Purchase went smoothly, return IIRC took longer than expected to get a credit but wasn't anything ridiculous. Would def buy from them again.
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.
I've bought a ton of stuff from bike closet and returned a few things. The 'I'm cheap section'/open box page is pretty rad (but you can't return open box stuff. My son just got a Poc Otocon Race helmet for $59 from them...

Anyone seen any deals on 165mm cranksets? Running SRAM dub BB now, but ok to swap.
Looks like a few 165mm choices left on planetcyclery.
Montani Semper Liberi
Any deals floating around on basic trail bikes? My wife is getting back into riding and her 2013 giant trance really could use $500 of suspension work that I would rather put toward a modern bike. Size M 29” 120-140mm travel mostly easier trails.
Canfield has 165mm cranks, and 150/155mm as well if you want to go even shorter. Not super cheap or super light but they are solid. Have had them on my Rail for 3 yrs now.
Not the greatest build/suspension but...you can get a new Rocky Mountain Element 10 for $1500 in any size.

I'd probably want something lighter for the wife but that's still a lot of bike for $1500.
Basically a Code RSC with the new ugly master cylinder for $99 a brake, hose routing is a little goofy.... The site looks a little sketchy, but they have been legit for me on two seperate orders.

^^^ Great performing brakes… but really fucking stupid design. Funny to see they’re already blowing them out.
What about this for $1699?

Anyone have any experience with the Elite Suito trainers they have on there? Zwift curious for next winter, this seems like a cheap way to get the job done.

Seems like a sick deal to me.
No experience with their smart trainers but I have a set of their rollers and they’re very nice.
