I was just going to recommend the Soul7, the pinnacle of all mountain ski design, performance, and elegance.

I feel like I'm morally obligated to tell you that perhaps instead of new skis you should pay more attention to this thread:

And by "morally obligated" I mean "returning the shit you have righteously given me in the past." You are welcome, of course. I'm here to help.

If you're gonna try to take my job as Rossi's Soul 7 rep around here, at least do your damn job right.

Huckbucket, what my cohort Adrenalated is trying to say is, you really need to consider the Rossignol Soul 7. It is the pinnacle of ski design and performance.

You are getting older. Guess what. So is the Soul 7. It is easily the most time tested ski ever made. They are like that old dependable pair of loafers you wear to drink coffee and take your morning dump. Not at the same time, of course. But you get the idea. You don't want to take them off. The Soul 7 is that good.

You want a ski that's easy to turn. These skis are so dead easy to handle you'll be able to leave your dentures in while you ski now. You also go a little slower now? No worries. They have your back there too. The Soul 7 doesn't care about your speed or rhythm at all. Tempo matters so little you'll think you're at a Nickelback concert, but in a good way.

Don't want to fight your skis either? Check yet another box. The Soul 7 will never beat you up. They're less threatening than a yelp critic at a dive bar. You won't have to be scared at all.

Let's get to your final point. Carving. The Soul 7 carves so well it will have you thinking of the first time you got to cut up the Thanksgiving bird. Ginsu slice after ginsu slice, Soul 7s are like the scalpel of all mountain carving skis. They have an edgehold stronger than Tom Cruise in the opening scene of Mission Impossible 2.

The only thing you should fear is that you can't find a pair. These bad boys are collectors items now.

Best of luck. Be sure to post up some stoke when you aren't trying to keep the women in the nursing home off of you, you distinguished gentleman.

    - Alpinord wins the thread
    - NW_skier also wins the thread
    - Core Shot is right and the real answer here is QUIVER. Because ....
    - I drove my Kastle's today at the flat-as-fuck Wolf Creek and was so happy I had them

... and EWG, the only thing I'm blasting is UC

If you still give a shit about what skis you are on after blasting a bunch of UC then you are doing it wrong.

And yes, quiver is always the answer. Skis = N+1 and all that. Same as bikes.

Imo, the Rossi soul 7 is way too newish. Go for the S3's and be happy.
    Master of mediocrity.
