Ohio State will either blow them out of the water or epically fail completely, and I have no idea which one it will be.

need to say that again for clemson. the ACC is going to show their best cant handle the P2 and the B12 will do that next week when ASU faces texas. i'm no sec fan but the playoff should be realistic. Bama should be in, theey are ranked ahead of smu and clemson. and the first weekend the smu's, clemsons ASU and boise play for the second round.
penn state, texas and ND should be sitting

the fcs games were better today because they were real playoff games, not a rigged one the fbs still is.

If bama wants in, they can’t get ass raped by a bad Oklahoma team. Simple as that.

We shall see. I think OSU and Oregon and Penn are better than SEC teams, but Texas looks good

PS: Texas was B12 and won the SEC the first year there were in, so not exactly a commendation of the SEC

Other than that they lost the SEC to Georgia.

Yeah the SEC ain't shit. Been hearing that for 25 years living out west. And yet they keep winning the big ones.

Tennessee…not so much. This is a savage beating.

I like ND beating Georgia. I think BSU gives Penn State a run for their money but Penn St’s defense will be just a hair too much, with their offense now firing pretty well. And I think who ever wins the Rose Bowl wins the championship.

I really didn’t think that game could’ve been any worse than the first three but god damn that was a violation.

Welp. Fans go home happy. Credit to the home teams for whipping that ass, good grief.

real winner has been Boise imo. they get a 12t round/bye share of the money and also money for just making it in, 3 mil and another 4 mil; just great for them. even more if they win next game.

It’s almost like they were within three points of an undefeated season to the #1, conference champs, and had the Heisman runner up. Let me bask for a moment then I’ll see you guys in another 10 years or so.

And we’re already planning who will be on watch for certain BSU friends and what to do for fallout/plan B New Year’s party festivities out of an abundance of caution…or just reality. But one can hope.

That seems like a an emotionally safe approach. Enjoy it.

Seems like an 8 team playoff would have been plenty. Maybe 4. Just let committee pick the best teams, record worth nothing.

i agree, the top 8 seem to be at another level, seems best thing to do, but ain't going back now; there's too much money. if tv thought it could get more money by expanding it further; they would.

Nah. Then regular season doesn’t mean much—all perception. And we know from prior BCS that it can be questionable judgement.

EG: Is Bama one of the best 8? On some days, definitely. On others, definitely not. Same with Oregon, tOSU, Penn St, etc. Record has to be a big factor for overall consistency.

I mean it was WSU’s third string in a bowl game. But yeah, I like McCord and his hatred for Ryan Day.
